Conversation
This is an exact transcription of a conversation between my husband and our two year old…..
Dad: Everyone needs to learn that when they take the last banana, to throw away the packaging
Lincoln: Ut up, Dad. (yes, I know…we have older kids)
Dad: What?! Did you just tell me to shut up?!
Lincoln: yeah, I did
Dad: I’m gonna break your butt!
Lincoln: no you’re not
Dad: Oh I am definitely gonna break your butt!
Lincoln: you’re funny Dad
Dad: You are a funny guy!
Lincoln: No, you’re a funny guy.
We are in so much trouble with this one. I know that this is very disrespectful on Lincoln’s part but my husband is a huge softy and let him get away with talking to him like that. He will definitely be regretting that later on down the road.

Oh the life, mind and thought process of a two year old. lol I am more of the disciplinarian in my household. I like rules and obediant/respectful children and my mom says I’m too hard. I just let her know “Hey, you had a house full of girls. I have a housefull of boys.” Point blank. lol
You have to be harder on boys because you want them to respect you when they’re older. I have seen to many teenage boys not give a flip about what their mom says because she never put herself as an authority figure in their life.
At least he’s two. You still have some time to get him and your husband in shape.
Take care,
Shynea
