The Job Situation
I heard back from the owner of the daycare that I interviewed at. Well, I didn’t get the job, yet. She told me that she narrowed it down to two people, me being one of them. She did hire on the other lady for the infant room.
However, she told me that she still wants to hire me on. She is going to be contacting two ladies that are currently on leave to find out if they are planning on coming back. She is also going to also move staff around and if she has a full time position open, she is going to hire me! She is going to call me after this week to let me know what is going on.
I thought it was very nice of her to call me to update me on what was going on. She didn’t have to do that but I do appreciate it. So, I am just waiting to hear back from her.
I am not necessarily in a hurry to change jobs since Chuck is going to be laid off next week or around then.
Today, I am enjoying my time off from work. The workload is too small to justify my being there so today begins my six days off from work! Oh how I am going to enjoy them! Time with my kids and at home?! Oh hell yes!!
