A Great Reminder

This is Breast Cancer Awareness month! There is so much to be said about the subject including the importance for all women to do a monthly self breast exam. I do mine and I sure hope you all do yours.
Cancer has touched all of our lives. Whether it was you or someone you know. I wish that there was a cure for this disease and we didn’t have to worry about it anymore but unfortunately, we are not there yet.

I met a friend through the Sisterhood of Shrinking Jeans and she is having a giveaway on her site while trying to remind women to do the monthly exam. What I love about the giveaway is that to enter, you have to leave a comment saying “I will” as a written pledge to do your part to stay healthy and aware of your breasts.

I entered and made my pledge to remain aware every month and hopefully in time, a cure will be found and women everywhere can rest a little easier at night knowing that this killer is no longer out there.
