Okay, I’m copying!
So, Jen has done this Love & Hate Friday on her blog and it is pretty interesting and fun so I decided to copy off of her and do my own!
Love: That it is Friday, which means that it is the weekend and I can sleep in!
Hate: That the weekends fly by so quickly and before I blink, it is Monday again.
Love: That Chuckie has his first football game tomorrow, I absolutely love watching him play. This is why I love that I have boys, I am sort of a tomboy 
Hate: That football games take up a portion of the weekend when I could be doing nothing and relaxing.
Love: That my husband was home from work the other night when we got back from football practice and just held me outside in the driveway. As we hugged, he told me how much he missed me that day and how he just wanted to hold me. (No, he was not drunk or trying to get some!) 
Hate: That we don’t make the time to do that everyday. It’s a shame that we get into an everyday routine and are too tired to switch it up sometimes.
Love: That Lincoln has been asking to go potty this week and has actually been going. Last week, everyday around the same time, he was taking off his clothes and diaper and saying he had to go potty but wouldn’t do anything on it. This week, it seems like he knows to say something before he actually pees. Learning what the feeling is of having to go is half the battle!
Hate: That it will be such a long time before he goes poop on the potty. I dont’ know this for sure but usually they take much longer for this big feat!
Love: That we are pretty much done with school shopping and Old Navy had kid’s jeans on sale for $10 a pair!!! I got each kid 4 pairs of jeans. They also got tons of shirts, socks, underwear, shoes and backpacks and all of that cost me less than $300!! I am a super shopper!
Hate: That they will grow out of this stuff fairly quickly. I am hoping that it lasts at least six months!
Love: That I am getting out of work earlier since moving to the catering department. I am also able to catch quiet moments by myself in the elevator between catering events where I close my eyes and take deep breaths. It is glorious!
Hate: That I do a ton of walking. I logged my steps on my pedometer the other day and in 8 hrs. 40 mins. I took 15,244 steps which translates to 7.25 miles. I love that I am getting that exercise throughout my days but I need new shoes with some comfort!
Love: That I am fortunate enough to have a job that I enjoy and that pays pretty well. Our savings account is getting a big boost from my working.
Hate: That I am tired all the time from working and I am seeing my kids so much less. It is a balance we are working on and we seem to be doing quite well, actually.
Okay, that is all I can put in for now. I am struggling to keep my eyes open. I am used to getting up at 4:30-5am so I’m not used to staying up late anymore. I don’t know how I am going to function tomorrow at a wedding reception with my Chuck’s co-workers!
