Life of Mine

More today than yesterday

If I could sum up my marriage in one word, it would probably be….evolving.  Probably not the word that most would use but it fits.  I’m posting this a few hours early because it is too big of an occasion to let pass by without sharing. 

Chuck and I have been married for ten years!! 

We’ve made it.  When I hear the song, You’re Still the One by Shania Twain I think of my marriage.  It is the one thing that I am most proud of.  I look at him and I see our future…so full of hope, love and perseverance.  He is the one person who knows me best, holds my heart and keeps me going.  When I am frustrated, sad, mad or feeling lost, he is my sanity, my calm, my freedom from stress.

We have been through a lot.  Some moments when I could have ripped his head off, moments when I couldn’t possibly love him more and also moments when I didn’t know if our marriage would make it…but all of those moments, even the darkest, have brought us to where we are right now.  Our marriage is strong, it is more than I could ever ask for.

Chuck always says how lucky he is to have me but I hope he knows how lucky I am to have him.  I cannot wait to find out what life has in store for our future.  The team of he and I, we are going places, together.  I am so proud to be his wife, to stand beside him and share his name. 

I am so madly and deeply in love.  I don’t always say it or show it, but I love him.  With all my heart and soul, now and forever. 

Happy 10th anniversary to my husband.  Thank you for all the love and happiness we have shared.
