Inspiration
If you follow me at Twitter or at Facebook, you know that I have been working out a lot, it seems to be all I ever talk about. In reality, it’s pretty much all that’s been going on with me..haha! My life, it is not exciting, folks!!
Anyway, I have two FB friends who always comment on my workouts and weight loss statuses. Yesterday, one contacted me to tell me that I inspired her to start counting her calories. Her father passed away at a young age (I think he was in his 40′s) and she didn’t want that to happen to her and leave her son behind. She has high cholesterol already so this will help her immensely. She couldn’t believe that I would need to lose the 21 pounds I’ve lost already….wait it’s 22 now!!! I do hear that a lot but really, the number of pounds is not what is important, it’s how you feel, how healthy you are.
Then, yesterday evening, another FB friend messaged me to say that I had inspired her to start working out! What a compliment it is to get other people motivated. She worked out on her elliptical for 45 minutes!! That is just wonderful.
If I can do this, anyone can. Really. Since I will start working next week during the day, I will only be able to workout in the evenings. That is fine, there are plenty of classes to choose from and I love most of them already!
So, if you are thinking about starting to work out or count those calories, do it! You can do it! You will feel so good, I promise. Maybe not at first, but you will.
I have a new tool to use too. I just got my prize from the Sisterhood giveaway! I’m excited to start using it. It is a journal for keeping track of the foods I am eating (with a tracker for fruits & veggies and also water intake!), my weight, my hits and misses and also a daily funny to keep you laughing. The book is called, Lite’n Up Laugh Yourself Skinny by Samara Q.Klein. The lady from the company even wrote me a personal message to congratulate me and included magnets in the packet! What a great place!
I am so grateful to everyone who is supporting my efforts in losing weight and getting in shape. It feels so great! The class instructor today told me that I looked great and to keep up the hard work!

You should be very proud of all the hard work you put into doing what makes you healthier and what makes you feel good about yourself. It is a daily commitment, and it’s not easy, but look how far you’ve come! You look GREAT and most of all you sound really happy.
I will count on you for some inspiration when I need to lose all this baby weight at the end of the year!
