Motivation I Needed

We have our vacation to the beach coming up in mid May.  I can’t wait to go and I have been trying to watch what I eat and I have been successful in drinking only water.  I have been going to the gym when I can. 

I’ve lost a good amount of weight since November….ten pounds!

My mother-in-law was looking at some new clothes for vacation and I said that I wouldn’t be buying any new clothes for the summer because we just don’t have the money to buy them. 

I decided to take a look in my closet at my shorts and I started to get curious as to whether or not my stuff still fit from last year. I tried on a pair of shorts that were a bit snug last year and…..they are loose!!!!  I tried on several pair all with the same result!  I was so freaking excited to see that all my shorts are looser on me! 

That was enough motivation for me!  I am so excited to keep on going and keep on losing! 

I’ve noticed that my arms are shrinking and getting toned, thanks to my husband who pushes me to lift more weight and improve myself. 

I need to lose quite a bit in my thighs though and I don’t really know what exercises to do to achieve what I am looking for.  I am continuing on the treadmill and hope to step it up again as soon as this cold is completely gone.  The gym is also starting a  new class in the evenings that I am going to do….cardio hip hop!!  I am so excited for this class.  It sounds like something that I would love.  I love to dance and it just sounds so fun…learning new hip hop dance moves while I am getting a workout…can’t beat that! 

So, maybe by the end of summer, I may need some new shorts because the ones I have may not fit!  Wouldn’t that be a great problem to have?!

    Running and the bike actually toned up my thighs, I dropped INCHES! I had to buy all new clothes this spring, terrible! *LOL*

    I do the bike a few times but not regularly, maybe I’ll do that more! I’m trying to run every chance I get too so that should help. My thighs are my enemy!!
