I got this message in my inbox the other day. I was wondering if it was true. I looked it up on snopes and it is definitely true. I am sending my card to her on Monday. How very sad this story is. If you go to snopes and search her name, you can read her story there. Imagine a little girl whose only wish for Christmas is to receive cards….how do you deny her something so simple that we all can do?!
There is a little girl in the Lancaster area (PA) that lost her mother of cancer when she was 3 and now also has a fatal brain tumor and only given 12 weeks to live- she is on her 6th week. The say she cant do a whole lot with her motor skills but loves getting cards and there is a big push to send her as many as possibleso when you are making out your final Christmas cards and want to send one to her – here is her name and address. Please also pass her info on to anyone
you may feel would want to send one.
