Less Stress
As the holidays get closer, I find that my stress level goes up. I’ve said this before and I’m sure you don’t want to hear about it again but hey, it’s my blog
I am almost done with my shopping. I got my husband’s Steeler jersey in the mail yesterday and it is so nice. He is going to be shocked because he only mentioned the player that he wanted once. He’s not expecting it at all. I am going to try to get him one other thing but we’ll see if it happens. We tend to not shop for each other as this time of year, the finances are tight.
This is going to be a gift card kind of year though for everyone else. There are only a few things left to get the kids and they are done. We have the kids for the family gift exchange but they are all getting money or gift cards. Easy!
My sister, brother and I are all going in together for our parents’ gift. They have plans to remodel their kitchen and bathroom so we are going to give them something along those lines.
The stress level has gone down a bit as the shopping is coming to a close. The kids have their school holiday shop today so they will be shopping for the family. It is all pretty cheesy stuff and most can be classified as junk but the kids love to do it so it’s something we participate in every year. My goal for their shopping today, to spend the least amount of money….less money for junk!
I am sending out my Christmas cards today. I had every intention of sending them out yesterday but when I went to get stamps, I ran into someone I know when I dropped Jada off at dance and by the time we stopped gabbing, the post office was closed!
I hope everyone else’s stress levels are low as the holidays come closer!
