What a day!
Today started out as any other day. I got the husband up for work, saw him off and then got the kids up for school. I took them to school then headed to work.
The day was just as normal as yesterday. I got home and I decided that I really wanted to go to the gym. I have wanted to try out the Zumba class. It is a mix of latin dancing, aerobic exercises, strength training. I decided that I was going to go. I needed to try it. I went and let me tell you, it is a workout! I really liked it a lot. It is fast paced and fun. It is like going dancing and having fun with your friends. We even did a little bit of belly dancing!! I sweated like crazy though and I worked muscles that I obviously haven’t been working! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something different and fun. I plan on going back for more. The downside? It is on Thursday nights and every other Thursday, Jada has girl scout meetings. I might see if I can drop her off at my parents beforehand and they can walk her down to the church where her meetings are….it’s right across the street from their house!
I am so happy that I went. That was a plus for the day! I burned a ton of calories with that workout! Plus! Plus!!
Another wonderful thing that happened to me today?! I won the contest over at Jen’s place! I am so excited! I now have to think about the design I want, the domain name I want and all that other fun stuff! I never win anything. I mean it, nothing! This is going to be so much fun to work with Jen on this. We do know each other in real life and I am lucky enough to know just how fun and kind she is. Dude, she offered this great prize…obviously she is kind, fun and tons of other great things!
Anyone have any suggestions for a domain name? I really don’t know what to go with!

I’m horrible at coming up with domain names too, but I have had a few guidelines that I stick to:
- Think about a common mantra or phrase that you like or can relate to.
- What about something having to do with your family, a special date, etc.?
- You could always use One Proud Mama and just turn it into a domain!

congrats again on winning! I’m not so good with domain names either… I cheated and used my initials that just so happened to form a sort-of word. any nicknames or anything? (pernell?? heh) Or like Bobbi suggested, One Proud Mama might work!

@Jen…Pernell…haha! I have been called Nizzle here for awhile, he changes my nickname every few years!
I don’t know if I want to use One Proud Mama, I almost feel like I need to change it since I am going to be going to a new home. We’ll see what I end up with, it’s just so darn thrilling!

I don’t have any good advice about domain names… I’ve always just seen a phrase in a book or heard words that I thought would sound cool as a website. I’m sure you’ll come up with something good!
