More time
I cannot express just how happy I am that football is now over. Totally and completely over. This means that my Tues, Wed and Thurs. evenings will be spent at home, doing nothing. Well, maybe I can actually do more housework or fun things.
I went to the gym this morning after not going all weekend. It felt good and I never got sore from the first day so I am happy about that. I didn’t do as much today though because I had to take the kids to the dentist.
The kids don’t have school today or tomorrow so that means that I can relax a little more and sleep in!! I am being spoiled by all this free time ! Today’s only goal is to clean and cook dinner! Wow, I am getting off very easy.
My job search is continuing. The interview that I went to a few weeks ago went really well but he never contacted me again. I am sort of disappointed but I understand if he found someone more qualified or someone who could work more evening or weekend hours. I am thinking of contacting the school about some cafeteria positions. It’s not a lot of hours or money but it is something. It also means no evenings, weekends or holidays! It also means no summer work, which we can swing since that is Chuck’s busy season. I am going to call a little bit later. My other thought….the bus garage. They are looking for van drivers and if I can get some information as far as whether I could take Lincoln with me or the kids and what hours then I could better decide if that was something I might want to pursue. There are a few ladies that do both the van driving and the cafeteria work because it is pretty much perfect schedule for a mom!
Anyway, I am just happy to have all this free time and being able to enjoy my family a little more….oh and save more gas!

I know you enjoy watching Chuckie play, but I also know the time involved in all those activities and I can imagine you might need a break! heh
