Just trying to hang on
All the running around for the past few months that I’ve been doing is catching up to me. In the past week, there was more than one night when I went to sleep before 8:30pm! My body is finally telling me that I am doing way too much and I need to slow down and rest. I’ve had to take short catnaps during the day to try to make it to the evening. I feel like I am 70 years old!
Tomorrow is the last wedding of our three week run of weddings. I am looking forward to the wedding because it will be another weekend when I can spend time with my friends, something I don’t do often enough. I am excited to see our friend’s son whom I haven’t seen in a very long time. Next weekend we do have plans but nothing too crazy. It will definitely be less hectic than our recent weekends.
Chuckie’s football season is coming to a close. Tomorrow is his last game of the regular season. He will then move into the playoffs and luckily it is only the top four teams in the league with single elimination. So….if his team keeps going the way they have all year long, they may be going to the super bowl for the league! This means an additional two weeks of football but it also means great success for his first year playing. It has been a long season and we’ve been doing this since July but I hope that Chuckie has had fun and learned about teamwork and dedication.
After football, basketball season starts! Thankfully, that is only one night a week and Saturday games. A much smaller time commitment than football!
One thing to look forward to but I can’t go into too much because I don’t want to jinx myself or talk too soon about it and it fall through. By the end of next month, we could be seriously house hunting!! I’ve talked to the finance lady and we have just a few things to clear up and she is confident that she can get us financed for a house. I’m just praying and praying on this. This has been our one major dream and we want it so badly. That’s all I will say for now! Please say a prayer for us, keep your fingers crossed and anything else that is good luck!!!
Now, I am off to yell at the boys for being too loud and getting a cup of coffee at 6:53pm so that I can stay awake until 9:00pm!!

Jen says:
Hopefully once football is over, things will calm down a bit for you
Just in time for HOUSEHUNTING!! How exciting
It’s a little stressful but also lots of fun! So did you ever get that bird out of your house??
